About Us

Smiling woman with long gray hair in a professional setting.

I'm a Bookkeeper, But I've Also Been the Business Owner.

I know what it's like to build a business, watch expenses, manage inventory, work with vendors and wonder whether all that activity is actually producing a profit.

Before creating True Life Bookkeeping, my professional journey gave me a unique view of business finances.

I've been a small business owner, operated an Amazon e-commerce business, and worked professionally as a procurement manager.

Those experiences taught me that bookkeeping isn't simply about getting transactions into the correct categories. Good bookkeeping gives a business owner information.

What Good Books Should Answer

Are we profitable?

Where is our money going?

Are our costs increasing?

Can we afford to grow?

What needs our attention?

That's why I created True Life Bookkeeping. I want small business owners to have organized books and financial information they can understand without feeling as though they need an accounting degree to decipher it.
